Aspen, Colorado

Graphic Design, Creative Direction, Branding, Advertising Management

As a project for my capstone advertising course in college, me and a team of media consultants were able to craft a cohesive marketing pitch for the town of Aspen, CO following the goal of increasing winter visitation. Through careful strategic analysis and market STP, we constructed the campaign around the tagline “Go farther. Get Closer.” My personal contributions included copywriting for the brand mantra, emotional epicenter, and campaign tagline; pitch deck layout and design; web, logo, and social media mockups; print and online advertising mockups; customer, client and competitor analysis; and construction of a branding guide and visual cadence.

WZRD Media

Graphic Design & Creative Direction

From pitch decks and style treatments to title design and social media graphics, I was able to pull together a cohesive visual identity for WZRD Media’s unique film aesthetic. I also acted as a field sound technician, photographer, post-production assistant, and production assistant on numerous projects.

In Bloom

Personal Zine, 2020

In Bloom is a 22-page zine cumulative collection of my photography, art, and poetry centered around the notions of change, personal growth, grief, and self-confidence. I printed a limited-edition release of 60 copies in April 2020 for sale. A few copies are still available, feel free to fill out a contact form if you are interested.

Brolin Mawejje

Creative Direction and Branding

As an aspiring Olympian and public figure, Brolin hired me to create a visual identity for him and oversee his personal brand creation to better obtain a following and secure sponsorships on his path to success. This meant creating pitch decks, a personal logo, and formulating the look and copy for his website.

As the president of one of the largest university-affiliated clubs on the University of Utah campus, I was responsible for establish a cohesive brand where there was little previously. This involved apparel design, a website overhaul, marketing plans, event planning, resource management, social media management, content creation, and graphic design for physical collateral.

Music Festival Coverage

Photography and Social Media

I was contracted to shoot lifestyle and music photos for M3F Music Festival in Phoenix, Treasure Island Music Festival in Oakland, Bonanza Music Festival in Heber, and Capitol Hill Block Party in Seattle. In addition, I performed as an influencer by generating social media content to drive ticket sales prior to the event and to be used by the event coordinators in future marketing efforts.

XY Planning Network

Graphic Design

I came on board with XYPN while they were preparing for a major rebrand, and was able to chart their course through that revision by creating an updated logo and brand guide. In addition, my responsibilities included weekly graphics associated with email and content output and generating print and physical collateral for the company’s annual financial planning conference.

As part of a larger marketing project, our client Mediterranea Seawater needed lifestyle shots for the introduction of their newest products. We were able to generate content for their marketing that fit within the existing brand image and inspired new sales.
